Practice Patterns in Mandibular Fracture Repair
WSOMS has received a request by Dr. Richard Davila, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Fellow at Kansas University Medical Center, regarding participation in a survey he is conducting.
Briefly, the survey would be looking at practice patterns when repairing mandibular fractures across three specialties: Plastic Surgery, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Otolaryngology. Dr. Davila has provided us with a samples for you to review:
Dear Maxillofacial Surgeon, we are contacting you because of your training and expertise in the area of maxillofacial reconstructive surgery. We are recruiting research participants to help us elucidate and understand current practice habits in management of maxillofacial trauma – specifically relating to the management of condylar/subcondylar mandible fractures.
Participation involves completing a survey that will take no longer than 10 minutes. No identifiable information will be collected about you, and the survey is anonymous. In addition to the survey questions, we will request demographic information and practice type.
There are no personal benefits or risks to participating in this study. Participation is voluntary, and you can stop taking the survey at any time. A link to the survey is attached below.
